We will be casting hempcrete on to this Quonset hut which will be a hemp processing facility.

Camp By The Lake!

Enjoy our beautiful spot where you can park your RV, set up your tent or sleep under the stars. Have fun canoeing, farm golfing, fishing and duck races. Its a peaceful farm setting only 10 minutes from Fort Collins, Colorado.

We are inviting building professionals, homeowners, natural and green building advocates to this special, one of a kind, training opportunity. People of all ages over 18 and of all abilities are welcome to attend. We, as communities, are pushing forward new
strategies for creating healthier living spaces and do our part to help
reverse the damaging effects CO2 emissions. This is an unique
opportunity to get in-depth knowledge and practical skills quickly.

In addition to preparing our building site we will be learning all about hemp building history, safety and background of our movement. We will also begin to get to know each other. Be prepared to share with us why you came to our event. We will also get our first few batches of hempcrete installed.

Saturday Sept. 15th- 9:00am to 12:00pmOn the job application of hempcrete

Learn the process of building the forms, the recipes, mixing and installing.

12:00pm to 1:00pmHemp Healthy Lunch

Learn about healthy hemp food while you enjoy lunch.

Now we all know how to do all the different jobs and we will hone our skills as we work on the wall application system.

We will study all of the different ways and places to install our system.

Learn about healthy hemp foods while you enjoy your lunch.

Here we will learn how to mix and apply the finish plaster to our wall.
